DAVIDIC PRINCIPLE FOR BRINGING DOWN A GIANT - Abiodun Adeboye

Morning my dear reader, I hope this series has been a blessing to you.
Today we will learn another principle from David which is: *Use your words effectively*
1Sam17:45-54
David confronted Goliath in the name of the Lord but I learnt something powerful from this man, he used his words powerfully. He looked at this gigantic being and began to declare what he wanted to happen to him, he cared about whom was standing in front of him but cared more about the One that was inside, he started making statements like *"the Lord will deliver you into my hands"* *"I will give your flesh to the field of the air"*

Am so amazed that David said all these words while Goliath was still on his feet but spiritually there was enforcement upon the words of David, Goliath was already a dead man before the sling was shot, this is the power of words.

In applying this truth to our lives, it is what you say in the face of your challenge that will determine the outcome you get, if you confess defeat you will be defeated.
You must learn to intentionally speak positive words over your destiny regardless of what is happening around you, your words are seeds and your life will produce the fruit of your words.
The scriptures says but by faith we know the worlds were framed by the word of God, the word *"framed" in Greek means *"karatizo"*: to repair, adjust, mend, frame.

At creation God saw darkness as an unwanted element and what did He do? He repaired,restore, adjusted, framed the earth by speaking *"let there be light and there was light"* Gen1:3

In the face of a giant challenge confess the scriptures, use scriptures like job8:7 *"though my beginnings may be small but my latter end should greatly increase" l*declare over your destiny *"am more than conquerors through him who love me"*. Rom 8:37

My dear reader, I have learnt that *what is written is superior to what is happening* your challenge is temporal but the word of God is eternally settled in heaven.

Speak out, raise your voice and speak, your words matters, tell that sickness that you are healed, tell that financial challenge that you are rich.
Speak out because the angel is enforcing your words, shortly Goliath's head will be off his neck.

My dear believer you are not your situation, what you are passing through is different from where you are going to, be bold and declare your victory.
