DAVIDIC PRINCIPLES FOR BRINGING DOWN A GIANT - PART 2: Abiodun Adeboye

This morning we will be picking it up from where we stopped last.

*Confront your giant in the name of the Lord* (2)

On Tuesday afternoon the Lord taught a very powerful lesson from what I experienced and I believe it will bless you because it is relevant for today's topic.
I was sitting under a tree reading a book, I decided to stop for a while to meditate on what I was reading ,it was then that I saw a small insect coming down from the tree, I was watching the move and then suddenly a lizard came hunting for the insect and I sent it away, not long after two more came and I sent them back.
As I did this, the Lord began to minister to me he said this is the same way He defends me, even though am so little I have a big God who defends me.
This explains why David said in Ps27:1-3
*THE LORD is my Light and my Salvationwhom shall I fear or dread? The Lord is the Refuge and Stronghold of my lifeof whom shall I be afraid?*

*When the wicked, even my enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell*

*Though a host encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, [even then] in this will I be confident*

This little ant was just moving without fear because my eyes was watching it. Few minutes after I took my eyes off this insect and then a big lizard hurriedly ate it up, I felt bad I couldn't defend this insect to the end.
It was then the Lord spoke to me again *"when men watches you they can slumber but Lord that keeps me(you) does not slumber nor sleep" He said "imagine what will happen if I take my eyes off you for a second"*

I was amazed by this, no wonder the scriptures says in Mal3:6

*For I am the Lord, I do not change; that is why you, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed*

David knew that the advantage of going in the name of the Lord, though like that insect he was small compared to Goliath but he know by going in the name of the Lord he was at advantage because that name is a strong tower.

Don't rely on your strength, trust in the Lord, no matter how big your challenge is, face that Goliath in the name of the Lord.

GOLIATH MUST FALL.
