Tasha Cobbs Leonard Offers Exclusive Docu Series ‘the Story Of … Heart.Passion.Pursuit.’

GRAMMY®-winning recording artist Tasha Cobbs Leonard shares more of her HEART. PASSION. PURSUIT. journey with the launch of “The Story Of… HEART. PASSION. PURSUIT.” a beautifully crafted 6-part weekly docu series airing exclusively on YouTube and Vevo. Cobbs Leonard shared the full film at an exclusive screening event in New York City this week.

Filmed in HD, “The Story Of… HEART. PASSION. PURSUIT.” offers an intimate look at Cobbs Leonard’s process creating the record-setting and chart-topping album. Weaving never-before-seen rehearsal footage and behind-the-scenes interviews with in-studio performances of her new music, viewers will enjoy personal insight from Tasha as well as the various participants, including the songwriters, worship leaders and guest artists featured on the album.

Cobbs Leonard allowed cameras to capture the historic week of rehearsal, impartation and recording with the singular goal to create “one universal sound of worship.” Over the course of 5 days at Atlanta Doppler Studios, Cobbs Leonard pulled together 25 worship leaders from across the nation bringing together different races, cultures, church experiences and styles of worship, to create the distinct sounds heard on HEART. PASSION. PURSUIT.

The weekly series will begin October 6 on Cobbs Leonard’s YouTube channel (TashaCobbsVEVO) and on Vevo. A new episode will premiere every Friday.

Released by Motown Gospel on August 25, HEART. PASSION. PURSUIT. debuted at number 1 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart and remained for 3 consecutive weeks. The album was the highest selling gospel album of the year and set a record for the largest first-week streams in gospel music history.

Currently in the middle of a busy touring and promotional season, Tasha Cobbs Leonard has also just been tapped to co-host the 48th Annual GMA Dove Awards on October 17 in Nashville, TN. In addition to co-hosting with award-winning singer/songwriter Kari Jobe, Cobbs Leonard will perform new music from her hit album. The Dove Awards will air exclusively on Trinity Broadcast Network (TBN) on October 22 at 8:00pm CST.
